Upper left corner, halo ring around the sun. Reflection of light by ice crystals, usually indicating deteriorating weather conditions.So we had to do it today and not tomorrow. We had to fly La Solana, climb high meet the southwesterlies that are gonna keep us company tomorrow.
Not magic, just knowing where to go on that special weather forecast.
Even low(er) airtimers with us today, who easily launched at the lower take off but had no stress climbing up with the big guys. Excellent flying.
