Top foto, Rafa's new baby. It is called Niviuk Icepeak XP, comp glider.
Below more Niviuk's in the air. Brandnew HOOK's carving the sky today.
Today it was rough at times. Once at cloudbase, I got 1300 m ASL, haven't seen a lot more heigh by others, it was rough. Tough windsheer, you had to keep your glider under control. Once again, Alicante proofed it isn't a region for low airtimers. You have to know what you are doing. And be aware of windsheer, buoyent to bumpy air at landing fields, gusty take offs. You got to have the hours under your belt, having experience in thermalling conditions.

We all loved it today. But we all respected the sharp edges, the uninviting conditions at times.
