Competition at Palomaret. Nice to see pilots from Valencia, about the only time we can see them flying on our hills.

The task was Palomaret - Maigmo - El Cid - Maigmo and then XC to Ibi.

By the time we left, no winner was known yet.

Conditions were lovely. Here and there a wake up call, but nothing serious. Cloudbase was not too high, that was a pity.

Lots of pilots in the air, and once a thermal was spotted, all raced to join in. Made it sometimes somewhat stressfull. But was also a good way to learn to fly in traffic. You have to approach it positivily.
