A classic

Sunset over El Cid, with last breeze clouds from the east --------------------------------

Early morning stroll on the beach, crystal blue sky. Sea was very calm. We definetely were gonna have valley breezes with the pressure rising. We just had to be patient and wait till the western winds were conquered by the breeze.

It was a bit of a wait, but knowing it was gonna happen. Nobody else did. All pilots asking, how about it Nick, you think it is going to happen. Hey Nick, half hour you reckon ? And so on.
So I just walk around, put streamers on, clean take off, and be patient. Meanwhile other local pilots calling me, asking if conditions were good yet, giving me info from their whereabouts.

Bingo, at 3 pm, it all kicked in and how. Huge and strong southern winds, Pepe skyhigh, Dudo in his trail. Soon after, the most brave preparing. Come on guys, I know it is good. Martin who has been here several times has trust in me. He rigs and way he goes up and up and up, circling amongst the better local pilots that just took off before. Thanks mate having confidence in me !

It was good flying, and was sure some of the pilots were having their second best flight today.

They are all having paella now, I am waiting for a phone call. Irish pilots are arriving, lets give them a good time.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
very early morning, beaches still empty, gorgeous sky

We flew till late as you can see.
