Cabo de Santa Pola

Cloudy all over, mist, take offs in the mist, that's the info we got early morning.
All news is about the cold that is gonna arrive. And in our houses this means cold ... . As spanish houses are badly insulated, or not insulated at all.

So we are ready, have firewood and got the old electric stoves out just in case next week it is really gonna be freezing. Temperatures will drop to 6 degrees celsius and this feels cold. A different cold than up north, it gets to your bones.

Anyway, we had to choose to go inland and hope for some sun that burned off some cloud, or stay at the coast and hope for an easterly breeze at the cliffs of Santa Pola.

We stayed at the coast and had half hour of flying in. Not so good today, but again feet off the ground. Lets hope you all had some flying in as well.

Hope you, Cath and Paco are well. We can only dream of flying in the South West of the UK....

Next week I may feel alive - still dreaming of Palomaret.
