Another very good day at Palomaret. Although inland some thunderstorms were predicted we still had safe and very good flying late afternoon at our famous hill Palomaret.
Our Norwegian guests broke the myth that up north only soaring is done. Skills, technique were obvious.

Next weekend (we hope) the weather will be good to fly early morning at Guadalest, then come down to the coastal sites like Cortina.
Some of the local pilots have never flewn there. So if they read this blog, they have an idea how the landing looks like. Because visiting it would take too much time. We land near the lake, have a swim, walk up (15 min.) to village, grab some food, and fly later in the day at the coast somewhere. Every year we have to make this effort, to fly this old, abandoned site once.
Last year we flew it, just the day before a plane crashed in the lake, luckily nobody hurt. You can see the rescue operation the day after when we flew over it. Remember Michael, Bettina ?
